USA – Day 3 Cont’d

I missed my 3 o’clock flight… because we were too engrossed watching the snow fall on the Rocky Mountains…. Missed the checkin cutoff time by less than 5 minutes. I seem to have a knack at doing that…

Guess we can never be too sure that giving ourselves only 10 minutes allowance would have been sufficient, since we are never really in control of how stupid the people around us can be. We met a bitch on the Hertz shuttle service who refused to put her luggage in the luggage area. That delayed us for a good 5-10 mins.

It was a long wait to catch our flight out after that. Next few flights were full… and then, bad weather caused delays in Chicago. The 2 flights after the one we missed were delayed by 2 hours each. By the time we managed to catch the flight out, it was already 10.30pm. *tired* But felt like we struck lottery when we managed to catch the second flight out. Otherwise, one more night in Denver.
